Mike Manhoff - Owner
Mike's background in hotels and retail management has taken him on an exciting quest and provided him with just the right mix of knowledge and experience to operate a people-intensive, customer-centered organization.
Since opening The Maids back in 1999, Mike has always strived to provide customer World Class Service to match the best home cleaning service available. Almost 20 years later, The Maids is one of the largest, most well respected companies in the industry. Mike will tell you time and time again, the secret is really not a secret, “Our people make the difference. The only thing our competitors can’t copy is our culture and our people.”
Crystal Straus - Senior Director of Operations
Crystal joined The Maids family in April of 2000 as a team member. During her time with The Maids she has held a number of positions. Her leadership abilities and business savvy have landed her the position of Senior Director of Operations. As the Director of Operations, she has developed many initiatives to ensure consistent and accurate scheduling. She works closely with customers to ensure that their needs are met. She takes it upon herself to communicate with Team Leaders and Members so that they can meet and exceed the expectations of our customers.
Away from her desk, Crystal enjoys the outdoors and taking long drives. She also spends her time helping the local communities whether participating in food and clothing drives or helping the homeless.
Rayna Schouten - Branch Manager
Rayna has served as Columbus’ branch manager since 2015, after spending two years as a Team Member.
Her success as a manager can be attributed to her ability to understand her customer’s needs and to empathize with her staff in the field. And the best part of the job? The people! Rayna is and has always been a people person, dedicated to providing the best possible experience for customers and team members alike. She believes The Maids’ mission entails more than just providing a clean home, but also the gift of time and peace of mind. She is dedicated to caring for her Team Members so that they in turn can provide the very best service for our customers.
Outside of work Rayna loves spending time with her wonderful son, Adaiah and her loving husband Chris.
Christina Heine - Director of Employee Experience
Christina joined The Maids as a Team Member in April of 2012. Her meticulous and hard-working nature quickly landed her a Field Manager position in September of 2012. In one short year she became the Assistant Director of Operations and now holds the title Director of Employee Experiences. She spends her days reigning as the queen of spreadsheets and she loves nothing more than creating lasting relationships with our employees.
Her heart belongs to Michigan where she grew up and later graduated from Ferris State University. There she met her husband, James, and soon after college they made a life for themselves in Cleveland with their three rescue cats; Lily, Hobbes and Calvin. Her hobbies include Lego video games, crafting, reading, binge watching Netflix and touring breweries and wineries.
Jennifer Littman - Customer Experience Specialist
Jennifer joined The Maids’ family in August of 2015. A graduate of Syracuse University, her background in public relations lent itself to a position in Customer Service.
Jennifer enjoys making her customers laugh and tries her best to practice patience and empathy in everything that she does.
Outside of work Jennifer enjoys teaching and practicing yoga, writing and spending time with her boyfriend, Henri, and her cat, Jones. She loves her co-workers and feels so grateful to be a part of such a wonderful team!
Sarah Cantrell - Customer Experience Specialist
Sarah has been with The Maids since February 2011 as a Team Member. Sarah’s creative background in theatre quickly gave way to her current position. She works on programs to maintain lasting relationships with customers. She seeks to provide a unique experience for each customer every time they use The Maids.
In her spare time, Sarah owns and operates her own interactive dinner theatre company. She writes scripts and designs costumes for each of the four productions during her theater season. When Sarah is at home, she spends quality time with her husband, Shane and their son, Colin.
Katie Haefner - Operations Assistant
Katie joined The Maids in July 2016 in hopes of using her many years of customer service to help not only herself grow and advance in the company, but also to help grow those around her. She has done that successfully since she has joined our team and has been a wonderful addition! With Katie's determination and drive for seeing people reach their potential the sky is the limit.
At home, Katie shares her life with her high school sweetheart and fiancée, Richard. They plan to be married in 2018. Her family has always been a strong foundation and at the heart of all she does! Her guilty pleasure is binge watching The Big Bang Theory and spending quality time with her niece Evelynn.
